This website (www.slimride.com) is owned and operated by Innohub Travels Private Limited. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”), which together with our Privacy Policy (accessible at Privacy Policy) govern the relationship you have with Innohub Travels Private Limited in relation to your use of the website and the services at www.slimride.com (the “Website” or “SlimRide”) whether through a computer, a mobile phone or any other electronic device.

The term “SlimRide” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the Website having registered office at Innohub Travels Private Limited, 3rd Floor, No. 231, 37th Cross, 11th Main Road, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore-560041, Karnataka, India. Our company is registered at Bangalore and the Corporate Identification Number (CIN) is U63040KA2014PTC077539.

The term “you” or “User” in this document refers to the user or viewer of this Website and/or the facilities and services made available through this Website. If you do not wish to agree to the outlined terms and conditions please refrain from using this Website and our services.

Please read this agreement carefully. By browsing, accessing or using this Website or by using any facility or service made available through or on this Website, you are unconditionally agreeing to and accepting the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (all of which are called the “Agreement”). This agreement is made between you and us.

We reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions and privacy policy at any time. All amendments will be posted online on this Website. We suggest you to re-read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy from time to time so that you stay informed of any such amendments. If we make changes to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and you continue to use our Website, you are implicitly agreeing to the amended Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Unless specified otherwise, any such amendments shall be effective immediately upon SlimRide’s posting thereof.

2. Use of Our Service

2.1 User(s) Eligibility

User(s) means any individual or business entity/organization that legally operates in India or in other countries and is competent and eligible to enter into legally binding agreement and have the requisite authority to bind the other party to this agreement. Our Services are available only to those individuals or business entities/organizations who can form legally binding contracts under the applicable law. Therefore, (i) User(s) must not be a minor as per Indian Law which means that User(s) must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible to use our Services (ii) User(s) must not be disabled by any law from entering into a contract.

2.2 Usage of Service

SlimRide continuously strives to provide a high quality service to its users. Any user using our services acknowledges and agrees that SlimRide has exclusive right to modify, stop, or change the form of its service from time to time (temporarily or permanently) to the user. User(s) acknowledges and agrees that SlimRide can at anytime terminate his or her user account or login route or he or she may be prevented from accessing the services on SlimRide’s sole discretion. User(s) acknowledges and agrees that SlimRide may at anytime terminate or restrict use of service if it hinders SlimRide to provide its services to other user(s) or to carry its operations or due to non-payment.

User(s) agrees to use SlimRide solely for personal purposes only, and shall not use SlimRide for any commercial or profit making purposes. User(s) agrees that he or she will not use the services in any such manner which is inconsistent with any applicable laws and regulations. User(s) will not use the Website in any manner to perform any illegal or illegitimate activities and the user(s) shall not aid or encourage any third party to carry on any illegal or illegitimate activities through this Website or its services.

2.3 Access to Services

In order to avail of and use the services provided by SlimRide User(s) will have to provide information about themselves as required by us for registration process needed for use of the services. User(s) agrees to provide us with complete, correct, accurate information and to maintain and update this information as required to keep it current, complete, and accurate. If a user provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, SlimRide has the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate the user’s membership without assigning any reasons and refuse to provide the user with access to SlimRide and its services. SlimRide can share customer/member/user information with employees and agents, with any company which the user acquires or acquires the user, to the Government or law enforcement agencies (if officially requested or required by order, Notification, Stature of the Court) and with anyone else, with the consent of the user.

2.4 Payment Policy

Currently SlimRide provides the option of online payment at the time of booking or cash payment during the trip. Customers are requested to pay the full fare amount online at the time of booking or hand over the full fare amount to our drivers soon after boarding the vehicle.

2.5 About Reservations

SlimRide provides shared ride service in Bangalore. Reservations are mandatory for availing the services offered by SlimRide. All reservations are valid for the time and date specified. SlimRide is not responsible for unused reservation or costs incurred as a result of customer error. Changes in pickup or drop location, date of travel, pick up or drop timing etc. in already confirmed booking are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Reservations are currently available only through the website which can be accessed through computers, laptops or mobile devices. Users can search for availability of rides by entering few details on the website. The Website displays an availability or unavailability screen depending on the rides we have. The availability page shows few details regarding the available ride corresponding to the search made by the User. By booking the ride and confirming it, a User(s) agrees to the Terms and Conditions regarding each of those details mentioned in this document.

2.5.1 Shared Ride for going to Airport and Railway Stations

Reservations are required for service to airport or railway stations. SlimRide pools customers going from various locations in Bangalore. Depending on a customer’s location and other information provided, SlimRide offers a ride, if available. Customers who have confirmed bookings with us will be pooled together and taken to the airport/railway station. Currently we will pool up to 3 customers together. SlimRide tries to pool locations and take routes in the most optimal fashion. SlimRide completely reserves the right to pool locations and choose routes and customers will have no say in this regard.

Desirable Reaching Time

SlimRide asks customers to search for ride availability based on their Desirable Reaching Time for airport and railway stations. Desirable Reaching Time is the time when a customer wants to arrive at the airport/railway station. Based on the Desirable Reaching Time request made on the website by a User, SlimRide shows a time slot for Expected Reaching Time during which the User will be dropped off at the airport or railway station and a corresponding Pickup Time if a ride is available.

Expected Reaching Time

Expected Reaching Time is the time slot during which we expect to drop off a customer at airport/railway station for the respective reservation. We expect to arrive during the Expected Reaching Time range in most cases. As long as a customer using SlimRide service arrives at the airport/railway station by the upper time limit of the Expected Reaching Time slot shown, SlimRide will not be liable for the customer missing his or her flight/train or any other loss. If a customer availing service of SlimRide is dropped off later than the Expected Reaching Time for the corresponding booking and misses his or her flight/train, SlimRide will refund the full flight/train fare upon furnishing of all necessary documents, provided the upper time limit of the Expected Reaching Time slot selected by the customer has i) at least 30 minutes margin over the counter closing time for the respective scheduled flight or the safe time margin suggested by the corresponding airline/airport, whichever is higher in case of airport booking, ii) at least 30 minutes margin over train’s schedule departure time in case of railway station booking. Customers are suggested to choose the Expected Reaching Time slot with sufficient margin over the counter closing times for airport bookings and scheduled train departure times for railway station bookings. SlimRide will not be responsible for a customer missing a flight or train due to incorrect or incomplete information about counter closing time for his or her respective scheduled flight or airline or airport or train departure information.

Pickup Time

The pickup time(s) mentioned to each customer on the availability page is the time at which the customer will be picked up by SlimRide drivers unless a better time sent as Final Pickup Time is provided to the customer with cab assignment details SMS and Email. Pickup times have been carefully arrived at considering typical road traffic, Expected Reaching Times, and other factors. Pickup time is the time by which customers should be ready to board SlimRide vehicles. Customers are recommended to be ready at their respective locations at least 5 minutes before their pickup times. SlimRide vehicles will wait for a maximum of 10 minutes after the pickup time. SlimRide drivers may leave a customer without picking him or her up if the customer hasn’t boarded the vehicle after 10 minutes of the pickup time. Customers are expected to be available on their phones to receive calls or messages. If a customer misses calls from our drivers or our customer support staff and is not able to board our vehicle in the allotted time, we will not be liable for leaving the customer after a 10 minute wait above the pickup time. SlimRide will not be responsible for a customer missing his or her flight or incurring any other losses due him or her being abandoned by a SlimRide driver after waiting for 10 minutes over and above the pickup time mentioned. SlimRide at its sole discretion can change the pickup time to a later time as long as it does not change the Expected Reaching Time. If a SlimRide driver arrives at a pickup location later than the pickup time for the booking but drops the customer by the Expected Reaching Time for the booking, SlimRide will not be liable for any loss incurred by the customer.

2.5.2 Shared Ride for coming from Airport and Railway Stations

Reservations are required for service from airport or railway stations. SlimRide pools customers at airport/railway station coming to Bangalore locations. Currently we pool up to 3 customers together and drop them off at different locations in Bangalore city. The routes taken and the dropping order of customers are completely decided by SlimRide and no customer will have any say in this regard. Please refrain from asking the driver to take any particular route or go to any particular location first.

Desirable Leaving Time

The Website asks customers to provide their Desirable Leaving Times and based on that pickup times for available rides are shown. If an arriving flight or train for a customer is delayed, SlimRide will make all efforts to accommodate the customer in some other SlimRide vehicle but we do not guarantee a confirmed ride or pickup time in such situations.

Pickup Time

The pickup time for pickup from airport or railway stations is the time slot during which customers will be picked up. An additional 10 minutes waiting over the upper time limit of Pickup Time slot may result. We request the customers to bear with us in case your pickup gets extended beyond the 10 minutes over the upper time limit of Pickup Time slot. In case one or more customer assigned to a pickup slot gets delayed in boarding the cab within the pickup time slot, SlimRide driver partner will wait for a maximum of additional 10 minutes above the upper time of the pickup time slot. Beyond this additional 10 minutes, SlimRide is not liable to wait more. SlimRide always tries to wait and pickup a delayed customer but it completely depends on other co-traveler(s)' willingness to wait more or the driver's availability beyond the scheduled time. For any loss or cost incurred by a customner who is not able to board the assigned cab within the maximum additional 10 minutes mentioned above for any reason not concerned with the Company or the driver partners, SlimRide will not liable in any way for any such loss or cost.

2.5.3 Shared Ride for daily commute

This service allows customers to book seat(s) as per their requirement for their daily commute needs. SlimRide currently clubs/pools a maximum of four customers in one ride. SlimRide completely reserves the right to pool locations and choose routes and customers will have no say in this regard. This service is strictly a subscription based service where customers have to book for a defined period and pay the corresponding amount in advance. Under this subscription a customer can take one ride at the mentioned timings on all days selected in the subscription at the time of purchase. This service provides pickup and drop right from/to customers' homes and offices.

Subscription Duration

Customers can check the duration for any available subscription by selecting the subscription & logging in.

Start Date

Start date for any subscription depends on the month and number of days remaining in the month. Customers can see and select the allowed start dates as desired.

Off Days Allowed

Number of off days allowed in a subscription is the maximum number of days for which if a customer does not take the service, he/she will be provided corresponding additional rides, subject to certain terms as mentioned next. For availing an off day, a customer has to inform the Company atleast 6 hours before the final pickup time. The number of off days allowed for each subscription can be seen on the subscription selection page. If a customer books both Home to Office and Office to Home subscriptions, the off days allowed/availed will be counted separately and can not be combined or transferred from one subscription to another.

Desirable Reaching Time

SlimRide asks customers to search for ride availability based on their Desirable Reaching Time for going to office/workplace. Desirable Reaching Time is the time when a customer wants to arrive at the destination. Based on the Desirable Reaching Time request made on the website by a User, SlimRide shows a time slot for Expected Reaching Time during which the User will be dropped off at drop point and a corresponding Pickup Time, if a ride is available.

Expected Reaching Time

Expected Reaching Time is the time slot during which we expect to drop off a customer at the drop point for the respective subscription. We expect to arrive during the Expected Reaching Time range in most cases. The Expected Reaching Time is shown based on typical traffic conditions and the pickup and drop points. If a customer availing the daily commute service is dropped before or after the Expected Reaching Time, SlimRide will not be liable for any loss or issue arising because of it.

Pickup Time for Home pickup

The pickup time(s) mentioned to each customer on the availability page for pickup from home is the time at which the customer will be picked up by SlimRide drivers unless a better time is provided as the Final Pickup Time. Final Pickup Time(FPT) is the time a customer needs to be ready at his/her pickup address/location. The FPT in this subscription service will be the same as the pickup time given at the time of booking unless informed by us. The FPT may vary on some days or weeks from the original pickup time given. However, the Expected Reaching Time will remain same and the FPT will always be better than or same as the original pickup time. Change in FPT will be informed to a customer at least three hours in advance and the customer has to be ready according to the new FPT. SlimRide driver will wait for maximum of 5 minutes at the pickup point. Customers are expected to be available on their phones to receive calls or messages. If a customer misses calls from our drivers or our customer support staff and is not able to board our vehicle in the allotted time, we will not be liable for leaving the customer after a 5 minute wait above the FPT. SlimRide will not be responsible for a customer incurring any loss due to him or her being abandoned by a SlimRide driver after waiting for 5 minutes over and above the FPT mentioned.

Pickup Time for Office pickup

The pickup time(s) mentioned to each customer on the availability page for pickup from pickup point is the time at which the customer will be picked up by SlimRide drivers. SlimRide driver will wait for maximum of 5 minutes at the pickup point. Customers are expected to be available on their phones to receive calls or messages. If a customer misses calls from our drivers or our customer support staff and is not able to board our vehicle in the allotted time, we will not be liable for leaving the customer after a 5 minute wait above the pickup time. SlimRide will not be responsible for a customer incurring any loss due to him or her being abandoned by a SlimRide driver after waiting for 5 minutes over and above the pickup time mentioned. We are vary strict about punctuality and our system tries to give the most correctly estimated pickup times but there may be slight delay due traffic or weather conditions on some occasions. Customers are request to bear with us in such cases.

2.5.4 Outstation

This service allows customers to book outstation trips - both round trips and one-way trips, depending on requirements. The availability and fare estimate can be seen by entering the correct details.

2.5.4.1 Roundtrip

SlimRide currently offers round trip bookings for specific source and destination cities. The fare and trip related terms are mentioned below:

Minimum Km Chargeable per Day

The minimum km chargeable per day is the kilometers which will be charged on per day basis for any outstation trip if the average kilometers covered per day during the trip is less than the minimum km chargeable per day value. For example, if the minimum km chargeable per day is 300 km for a particular trip and the trip is for "n" days, then the Customer will be charged for 300*n km if the total km covered is less than 300*n. If the total km covered for a trip is more than 300*n, the Customer will be charged for the total actual kilometers covered.

Kilometer charged for a trip

The kilometer charged or which can be availed within the shown fare is mentioned for each trip and vehicle type on the availability screen. If the km covered for a trip exceeds the kilometer charged for, the customer will be charged for the extra km at the rate shown at the time of booking.

Extension of trip

Extension of an already booked trip beyond the days for which it is booked will depend on availability and SlimRide can't guarantee an assured extension, whether requested before start of the trip or during an ongoing trip. If SlimRide provides extension of a trip, the Minimum Km Chargeable per Day condition would apply at the rates already being applied for the booked trip.

Inter-state tax, toll etc.

The fare shown for any Outstation trip does not include any government related tax, toll etc. Any inter-state tax, toll, MCD charges, parking, entry charges or any other government charges has to be paid by the Customer.

Driver Night Allowance

The Driver Night Allowance is the amount that has to be paid to the driver for driving between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM. This amount will be charged to the Customer for all the nights during a trip when the driver drives between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM. This allowance is separate from Driver Daily Allowance. The Driver Night Allowance amount may vary for differrent trips and vehicle types. This amount is shown at the time of booking.

Driver Day Allowance

The Driver Day Allowance is the amount that has to be paid to the driver for each day of a trip towards food and other expenses. This amount will be charged to the Customer for all days of a trip. The Driver Day Allowance amount may vary for differrent trips and vehicle types. This amount is shown at the time of booking.

Day Count

Each day is counted from midnight 12:00 AM to next midnight 12:00 AM.

Kilometers Count

Km for a trip is counted starting from and ending at the pick up location.

2.5.4.2 One-way

SlimRide currently offers one-way trips from/to few cities. The fare and trip related terms are mentioned below:

Minimum Km Chargeable per Day

The minimum km chargeable per day is the kilometers which will be charged for a trip if the total kilometers covered for a oneway drop is less than the minimum km chargeable per day value.

Kilometer charged for a trip

The kilometer charged or which can be availed within the shown fare is mentioned for each trip and vehicle type on the availability screen. If the km covered for a trip exceeds the kilometer charged for, the customer will be charged for the extra km at the rate shown at the time of booking.

Modification of trip

Modification of a oneway trip to a roundtrip will depend on availability and SlimRide can't guarantee an assured change in trip, whether requested before start of the trip or during an ongoing trip. If a oneway trip is changed to a round trip, the fare for the trip will be applied as in case of round trip. The fare per km, the minimum km chargeable per day etc. for the modified trip may be different from those for a normal round trip and these values will be decided and informed by SlimRide to the Customer at the time of modification.

Inter-state tax, toll etc.

The fare shown for any Outstation trip does not include any government related tax, toll etc. Any inter-state tax, toll, MCD charges, parking, entry charges or any other government charges has to be paid by the Customer.

Driver Night Allowance

The Driver Night Allowance is the amount that has to be paid to the driver for driving between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM. This amount will be charged to the Customer when the driver drives between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM. This allowance is separate from Driver Daily Allowance. The Driver Night Allowance amount may vary for differrent trips and vehicle types. This amount is shown at the time of booking.

Driver Day Allowance

The Driver Day Allowance is the amount that has to be paid to the driver for each day of a trip towards food and other expenses. This amount will be charged once to the Customer for a oneway trip. The Driver Day Allowance amount may vary for differrent trips and vehicle types. This amount is shown at the time of booking.

Kilometers Count

Km for a oneway trip is counted starting from the pickup point and ending at the drop point.

Additional Pickups

Only one pickup and drop is allowed in the normal fare shown for a oneway trip. Any additional pickup or drop will be charged at 50

Waiting Time

For any oneway trip, the amount of travel time, including any waiting time, alloweded in the shown fare is metioned at the time of booking. Any waiting or break of more than 30 minutes will charged at 100/hr

2.6 Refund/Cancellation Policy

The refund policy for cancellations or non-use of services will be as mentioned below:

Cancellations

Airport Rides(Shared and Private cabs both)

  • For cancellations done by customers more than 24 hours before the pickup time, 20% of the fare amount will be deducted and the remaining 80% will be refunded to customers.
  • For cancellations done by customers between 8 hours to 24 hours before the pickup time, 40% of the fare amount will be deducted and the remaining 60% will be refunded to customers.
  • For cancellations done by customers between 4 hours to 8 hours before the pickup time, 60% of the fare amount will be deducted and the remaining 40% will be refunded to customers.
  • For cancellations done by customers between 1 hour to 4 hours before the pickup time, 80% of the fare amount will be deducted and the remaining 20% will be refunded to customers.
  • No refund will be provided for cancellations done by customers within 1 hour of the pickup time.
  • No refund will be provided if a customer does not board the assigned cab by a maximum of 10 minutes above the assigned pickup time for any reason not concerning the Company or the assigned driver and the driver leaves without picking up the customer.
  • For any cancellation done by SlimRide, full advance amount will be refunded to customers.

Railway Station Rides

  • For cancellations done by customers more than 18 hours before the pickup time, 40% of the fare amount will be deducted and the remaining 60% will be refunded to customers.
  • For cancellations done by customers between 8 hours to 18 hours before the pickup time, 60% of the fare amount will be deducted and the remaining 40% will be refunded to customers.
  • For cancellations done by customers between 1 hour to 8 hours before the pickup time, 80% of the fare amount will be deducted and the remaining 20% will be refunded to customers.
  • No refund will be provided for cancellations done by customers within 1 hour of the pickup time.
  • No refund will be provided if a customer does not board the assigned cab by a maximum of 10 minutes above the assigned pickup time for any reason not concerning the Company or the assigned driver and the driver leaves without picking up the customer.
  • For any cancellation done by SlimRide, full advance amount will be refunded to customers.

Office Commute Rides

  • A customer can cancel this subscription any time till more than four rides are remaining, rides counted from the next day.
  • Upon cancellation, the total rides remaining, from the next day onwards, will be counted and from the corresponding amount a cancellation fee of 300 and an amount corresponding to 4 rides will be deducted. The balance amount will be refunded. If the net refund comes to be negative, there will be no refund.

Outstation

  • For cancellations done by customers more than 24 hours before the pickup time, 200 will be deducted towards cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done by customers before 18 hours to 24 hours of the pickup time, 400 will be deducted towards cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done by customers before 6 hours to 18 hours of the pickup time, 600 will be deducted towards cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done by customers less than 6 hours before the pickup time, no refund will be provided.
  • For any cancellation done by SlimRide, full advance amount will be refunded to customers.
  • If the driver assigned for a trip does not show up, the company will look to provide a replacement with a similar car type. If the company is not able to provide a replacement, the advance amount taken will be refunded in full.

Local Rental

  • For cancellations done by customers more than 24 hours before the pickup time, 100 will be deducted towards cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done by customers before 18 hours to 24 hours of the pickup time, 200 will be deducted towards cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done by customers before 6 hours to 18 hours of the pickup time, 400 will be deducted towards cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done by customers less than 6 hours before the pickup time, no refund will be provided.
  • For any cancellation done by SlimRide, full advance amount will be refunded to customers.
  • If the driver assigned for a trip does not show up, the company will look to provide a replacement with a similar car type. If the company is not able to provide a replacement, the advance amount taken will be refunded in full.

Non-use

  • If customers are not able to use our service at the last moment because of flight or train cancellation or delay, no refund will be provided.
  • If customers inform us in advance about cancelling a booking due to flight/train delay or flight/train cancellation, refunds will be provided as per cancellation rules mentioned above.
  • If customers miss our service due to incorrect details entered while booking, no refund will be provided.
  • If our driver abandons a customer who doesn’t board the vehicle as per our timing rules, no refund will be provided.
  • If a customer misses our service because of not attending to or answering our calls or messages, no refund will be provided.
  • If a customer is abandoned midway during the trip because of inappropriate conduct or misbehaving with other customers, no refund will be provided.

Modification in Booking

  • Customer requests for modification in bookings will be entertained on case by case basis depending on the request made and the availability of rides.
  • For correction in customer’s personal details which include Name, Phone Number, and Email, a modification fee of 50 may be charged and customers may be asked to furnish documents supporting verification of the new details.
  • For modification in customer’s trip details which include Expected Reaching Time, Pick up and Drop Locations, Date, Pickup and Drop Addresses, Pickup Time, Vehicle Type etc. a charge of 100 for airport/railway station rides and 200 for office/outstation/local rental bookings may be levied. However, accepting any modification request is subject to the available rides we have. We may deny modification request solely at our discretion depending on availability of rides, vehicles, or co-travelers.

Transfer of Booking

  • Booking once made by a customer is not transferable to any other person in any scenario. SlimRide will not entertain any request for transferring a booking to another person.
  • If found out that a customer using our service is not the one in whose name the booking has been made, the customer will be immediately asked to leave our vehicle and he or she will be liable to further action. In such scenarios, both the actual person traveling with us and the person in whose name the booking was made will be liable for any action required by the law. Also, any payment made in this regard will not be refunded.
  • Our drivers may ask for personal identification at the start of, during, or after the trip. By using our service you agree to furnish personal identification documents such as passport, driving license, aadhar card etc if asked before, after or during the trip.

2.7 General Points

Fare

The fares mentioned currently for each service are introductory fares which may be changed at any time by SlimRide. The fares for airport, railway station, office services are flat fares which include all the taxes, tolls etc. You don’t need to pay anything extra to the driver above your mentioned fare. In case there has to be charged any additional amount, you will be informed in advance. For payment option of paying during the trip, you are requested to kindly hand over the fare amount to our drivers just after boarding the vehicle.

The fare for outstation trips does not include any inter-state taxes, tolls etc.

Incorrect Details

Customers are requested to enter their complete and correct details while making a booking. SlimRide will not be responsible for any losses or issues resulting from incorrect information furnished by customers.

During the Trip

During the trip customers are requested not to misbehave or act inappropriately with their co-passengers and the driver. Customers are also requested not to ask the driver to stop the vehicle or take diversions for any personal work such as picking up or buying something or withdrawing money from ATM etc. SlimRide reserves the right to entertain any such request. Further, SlimRide may abandon one or more customer midway during a trip if he or she is found creating discomfort or inconvenience to fellow passengers.

Luggage

Luggage allowed for each customer for airport and railway station ride is a medium sized trolley bag or suitcase and a backpack. If customers bring extra luggage during boarding, they may be charged at 50 per luggage for normal size laptop backpacks and 100 per luggage for trolleys, suitcases etc.
